プレーパークの運営と子どもの遊び─「 おかやまプレーパーク」の活動から ─

Abstract

In the contemporary society, the environment where the child can play freely by his responsibility is indispensable to secure the child's development. Such an environment will become more important in Japan where the mobile phone begins to spread to the child generation. There is a play park in one of the activities that create the play environment. The play park activity that had been introduced from Europe to Japan has come to be going to extend little by little in these 30 years, and for a lot of groups to act on the whole country. The approaches of various shapes were performed in 2000, and a permanent play park “Okayama Play Park” was born in April, 2008 also in Okayama. The cooperation of the resident and the administration is indispensable in above all so that such a play environment is born. The resident built up mutual trust with the administration, and the activity over many years was continued, therefore the birth of the play park was achieved also in Okayama. In this text, I want to look back on the history of the birth of "Okayama Play Park", and to consider the meaning of the resident activity in the play park activity.
