Abstract

This article is a progress report for the study concerning the construction of “The Sensory Reading Program”. Also, it is for the purpose of explaining the connection between“ The
Exhibition Project” (2003-2006) and our study,“ The Sensory Reading Program.” “The Exhibition Project” (2003-2006) was an artistic activity seeking to build relationship of the
manner of art with human being. I have worked with some artists and players for the project.“ The Exhibition Project” is characterized by music and modern arts telling the story. No hero appears on the stage. Objects alone are placed around the set hinted at scenes and images of people in the story. On the other hand, “The Sensory Reading Program” is the reading activity constructed of story-telling with music and the other arts. Accordingly, the audience can read more independently and come into the dialog with the story-teller. Through these considerations, I would like to show a way of cooperation with music education and other fields in education. Also I will state its possibilities and next tasks of “The Sensory Reading”.
